Kids love to get creative with color, but parents want to keep the color where it belongs and easily remove it where it doesn't
They sent one with different presentation but isn’t a big deal, I ordered for my daughter PreK supplies , hard to find right now in Walmart lol they arrived goodI am a young adult who bought these paints for myself. I wanted to get into water painting but didn't want to shell out more money for artist grade paints when I wasn't sure if I would like it. These are actually pretty vibrant colors that I enjoyed painting with. I really like that once the paint dries it does not feel chalky or smear when I pass my hand over it. It feels very smooth and has a nice shiny look to it if looked at from the side. I didn't care much for the brush, so I used one of my own brushes that comes back to a point after using.Obviously a professional artist might not want to paint with these, since they are meant for little kids and may not produce dark enough colors. But I would like to say that you don't need expensive art materials to create a good art. The name "Crayola" screams that this is meant for children, but it doesn't mean older kids or adults can't play around with these paints. The only reason one may want to spend more on higher quality paint would be for their art to last longer. Like I said, I just wanted these to learn how watercolors work and see if I would like it. So if you are like me and don't want to spend too much on art supplies (or not yet at least), then these are not bad. You may want to take a picture of your work before the years pass and your picture fades. For parents and other caregivers who are looking at these for a child, these are great since they are washable. Allowing your kids to try different forms of making art will help them expand their minds and let out their creativity.I rely heavily on reviews when purchasing stuff on the internet and know the importance of writing them as well to help others in their decisions. If you found this review to be informative in any way, please mark as "helpful". I would appreciate it very much! Have a great day!I home-school my three-year-old daughter and we do lots of arts and crafts. Her old watercolors were almost out so I went searching for new ones. I chose these because they are Crayola--which means they're good quality for children--and because they're washable and they come in 16 different colors. These watercolors are the hard kind to which you have to add water. I also have some liquid watercolors that we use, but the liquid watercolors are more of a pain to use and they stain like crazy. These watercolors are easy to use--especially for a preschooler--and they wash out of clothing, which is a very big deal. They come with a paintbrush and 16 different colors: black, blue, red, orange, yellow, green, purple, brown, red-violet, red-orange, yellow-orange, yellow-green, blue-green, turquoise, blue-violet, and white. Of course, you can also get creative and mix them to make even more colors. My daughter's eyes lit up when she saw these and she had so much fun using all of the fun colors. They are vivid and lovely. These are the perfect watercolors for children and a good price as well. They paint well on regular paper, watercolor paper, card stock, and anything we've tried. They get even more fun when you have different types of paintbrushes. These watercolors come in a hard plastic container that has a hinge-type of lid, so you can keep your watercolors protected and store them away easily. You will appreciate that these are washable if you ever use non-washable watercolors. Now I don't have to worry about my preschooler dripping paint on her clothes or splattering it on me and elsewhere in the house. These are a great buy! I'll probably be back for more when ours run out.Bought in perfect time for my son’s school supply list but didn’t even have all the colors we needed.I love these washable watercokors for my 3 year old. Enough color so she can see but does not stain clothes. I set her up with water and she will enjoy for a while. Did not give 5 star because once they are used a long time the inner tray sometimes comes out of the outer tray. Not a huge deal but my toddler tends to be able to bend the paints that way and make a larger mess. Overall very happy with washable watercolors. These Watercolors are Amazing! They Are Vibrant and Vivid, and the colors do not flake off of the paper after a long period of time.PROS:1. Vibrant Colors, High Quality2. Non-Toxic, Great for Children3. Cheap, Non-ExpensiveCONS:1. Not Much Product Included2. Casing is Cheap, Can Easily Be Broken By ChildrenOverall, These Paints are a great bargain, and i would definitely re-order these products in the future. Best Paints on the market for children!I love water colors and this brand is great and one we trust. We homeschool and love to do art a few times a week if not daily some weeks. Water colors play a large part of that for 4 of my children. We can get bright beautiful colors or more traditional muted colors with this set. My only wish would be that this set came with a larger brush. Small children need larger brushes to cover larger areas and most sets like this only come with little brushes. This set with heavy use lasts about 6 months for us with each child having their own.I was interested in trying watercolors and was going to get one of the pricier, higher end brands but figured since I've never used them before I'm better off starting off with a cheap inexpensive brand. Ok - while these ARE inexpensive they are not "cheap". They have so much pigment and the colors are so vivid! I was very pleasantly surprised coming from an inexpensive brand like Crayola. I'm totally in love with these watercolors and for now I don't even have any desire to get a higher end brand. These are truly lovely paints. I bought them for my 7 year old son who is an enthusiastic and very messy artist and I have been looking for child (& parent) friendly watercolours that are not of the usual substandard quality that you find in most sets marketed for children. I am a firm believer in giving children the best quality you can so they are not disappointed with the results of the creative efforts. These do not disappoint - the colours are bright and luminous and they clean up easily. In fact my older children who have been using Windsor & Newton for some years are jealous and asked if I could get some of these for them. It is such a pity that they are not more readily available in the U.K.Water colours good quality. I wish the trays would stay in plastic container but that's a minor thing. Great for my 2 year old and it's nice to know they are non toxic. Washes off easily too.Quality not too bad, but i found it odd that some colours are included twice.child is very happyGREAT FOR THE GRANCHILDREN
